NALIRRI MASTERPLAN-MARUZI-APAC

The NaLIRRI Research Institute embarked on improving livestock research facilities at Nakyesasa, Gayaza to International Standards in a phased manner over a four year period.

The facility will have the following infrastructure:

1. Administration Block
2. Laboratories (Class II & III)
3. Research in livestock propagation facilities,
4. Training and services to farmers, private sector especially agro-industries and
5. Grain Warehouses.
6. Silos

NaLIRRI has planned to construct buildings for the modern agricultural engineering research workshops and laboratories, as well as exhibition spaces to showcase the Products achieved from the several processes.

Summary of activities performed

1. Site evaluation, analysis and impact of existing and / or proposed development on its immediate environs.
2. Architectural Design and Site Development.
3. Structural Design.
4. Preparation of Bills Of Quantity
5. Design of Sitewide Sanitary, plumbing, drainage, water supply and sewerage.
6. Electrical, Electronic, Communication Systems and ICT design.
7. Ventilation and Air Conditioning Design (HVAC) and other Mechanical Systems.
